Joined Rotary Club of Madras in the year 1986 and led the Club in the year 1997-98, became Dist Governor for 2004-05, the Centenary year of Rotary. A glimpse of the outstanding projects initiated during his rotary career:

International Participation:
Attended many Rotary International conventions and Presidential conference all over the world
Very actively participated in Tsunami Relief Operations in RI District 3230 and other Districts and continues to do so.
Treasurer for National committee for Solidarity in South Asia Fund formed for Tsunami Relief
Secretary (2005-2008)- Rotary New Trust, who publish the 'Rotary News' Magazine in India
